Big Band Weekend

This coming May, The Registry Theatre Jazz Series presents a weekend of Big Band Music. Saturday, May 24 has two amazing shows. First, London’s Baddest Big Band, under the direction of London Jazz Festival Founder, Seth McNall will hit it big with special arrangements of classics like you’ve never heard before. Saturday night will feature Hillario Duran’s Latin Big Band. This Juno and Grammy winning composer, arranger, and piano monster will raise the roof of Kitchener’s Registry Theatre.

Why not take supper in at our partner restaurant Mark’s Carribean Kitchen, a short walk from the theatre.

Sunday at 3:00, local big band sensation Big Band Theory will be playing many selections from their recently released recording called “Suite Canada”. It’s very exciting to be showcasing a truly Made in Canada recording. Brunch is available at our partner restaurant Mark’s Carribean Kitchen.

Watch for other partnerships as we get closer to the date.

Tickets are $40 for one show, $65 for two shows, or $90 for all three shows.
